The “VT3260 Personal Locator” is a new product undergoing final development that allows the user to call and report the current position to family/friend or authority for assistance.
For other industry sectors, the device can be programmed for real time tracking and monitoring of assets. We implement the GSM/GPRS tri-band technology 900/1800/1900Mhz so the unit can be used over any GSM network in the world. The device can also offer as a low cost internet tracking device by GPRS. The tracking of the person and asset without boundaries will be possible with VT3260.
VT3260’s internal GPS chipset is the newest technology with indoor GPS capability. The chipset has ultra high sensitivity for over –150dBm which allows to obtain a valid GPS position inside the building or vehicle. With the AGPS ( Assistance GPS ) signal becoming popular in the near future, VT3260 is AGPS ready device and will allow the possibility to locate the person in the basement ( kidnapping situation) or under debris (earthquake situation ).
